The sacred journey of awakening the Divine Feminine and embracing the path of Tantra has been nothing short of transformative. In 2012, I unknowingly experienced my Kundalini awakening—a force so powerful it would deconstruct everything I believed about life and myself. It was only five years later, in 2017, that I understood the magnitude of what had occurred. By then, the Divine Feminine had already begun to stir within me, calling me to explore a deeper truth.
The Sacred Journey: From Darkness to Light
As I started my meditation practice in 2013, under the guidance of a teacher from India, I entered what felt like a cold, damp basement of my subconscious, to which he advised me to start journaling after my meditations. Meditation uncovered layers of beliefs, emotions, and traumas I didn’t even know existed. I would often ask my teacher for answers, but his response remained the same: “Meditate.” At first, I found this frustrating, but later I came to understand his wisdom. He told me, “I can show you the path, but I can’t walk it for you.” And so, I continued to meditate, unpacking the discomfort I had carried for so long, one layer at a time.
Enter Tantra: The Dance with Shakti
Tantra appeared in my life unexpectedly, and I initially resisted it. The idea of merging energies with a stranger in sacred intimacy felt alien to me. “No thanks, Universe,” I thought. But, as always, the Universe had other plans. A fateful conversation around a fire pit introduced me to Shakti—the Divine Feminine—and my curiosity was ignited. The more I learned, the more I realized I had been unknowingly walking the Tantric path. I met a Tantra teacher who guided me into the ancient practices, meditations, and rituals, helping me tap into Shakti’s powerful, sensual energy.
Shakti, with all her fierce grace, began to flow through me. She emerged through dance, through my words, and through the very movements of my body. Tantra allowed me to unpack emotional baggage at an accelerated pace, revealing layers of authenticity I didn’t know existed. Each step of this journey was a sacred peeling away of the old.
As I worked through the discomforts, Shakti began to emerge more fully. Her presence was undeniable–sensual, fierce, and soft all at once. She moved through my body like a river of ecstasy, whether through dance, words, or touch. Tantra wasn’t just about intimacy with another person; it was about intimacy with myself, my energy, my essence.
Yoga: A Union of Body and Spirit
It was only natural that my practice of yoga became the next step. Yoga allowed me to feel Shakti’s energy move through me with even greater intensity. Each pose, each breath was an invitation for her to flow freely within me. The deeper I ventured into yoga, the more exquisite the connection became—touching my toes, feeling the stretch of my body, the resistance of my muscles with every asana, all became a sacred dance. So, I immersed myself in the Yoga Sutras and earned a certification, not to teach, but to honor this divine flow.
A Journey to Self-Love: The Sacred Union of Body and Spirit
My integration of Tantra and yoga has led to a profound love for every part of myself. Through the practices, I’ve learned to honor my body as a sacred vessel, embracing its curves and flaws as expressions of divine femininity. Tantra, with its focus on energy and intimacy, allows me to connect deeply with my essence, cultivating self-awareness and acceptance. Yoga complements this journey by grounding me in my physical form, teaching me to move with grace and intention. Together, they weave a tapestry of self-love that celebrates my wholeness, reminding me that every aspect of my being is worthy of reverence and adoration.
The Feminine Speaks: Channeling the Divine
As I delved deeper into meditation, tantra and yoga, my journaling practice began to shift. No longer was it just my thoughts on paper; something greater was moving through me. The writings became channeled messages, flowing effortlessly from the mystical feminine. This sacred voice became the inspiration for my blog category, The Feminine Speaks—a collection of these profound, divinely inspired writings. It’s as if the Divine Feminine is speaking through me, sharing her wisdom for others to witness.
The Divine Union of Shiva and Shakti
As much as I love and revere Shakti, I equally honor Shiva—the Masculine energy that balances the Divine Feminine. My blog, His Divine Feminine, is named to reflect this sacred union. Shiva, the stillness, the container, and Shakti, the creative force, dance together in divine union. One cannot exist without the other, and their merging is the essence of Tantra. This relationship between masculine and feminine is the heartbeat of my spiritual practice, a reminder that within every one of us, these two forces coexist and must be honored.
Mysticism, Tarot, and the Sacred Pause
My journey led me deeper into mysticism and the exploration of Tarot, where the cards became a mirror for my soul’s evolution. Each card I drew held a reflection of where I was and what I needed to face. Tarot became another language for the Divine Feminine to speak to me, revealing truths that I might have missed otherwise.
There was a time when I shared my channeled writings on social media, and the response was overwhelming. People resonated deeply with the words, and I began to gain a following. But over time, I noticed that the attention was subtly affecting me. Even though I knew these messages weren’t mine, the engagement began to influence my ego. So, I took a sabbatical, stepping back from the noise to return to my inner world and continue unpacking the bag of life’s discomforts.
A Journey that Never Ends
What I’ve learned is that this sacred journey—whether through Tantra, yoga, or meditation—is never truly complete. The “bag” of life is never empty, but it becomes lighter with each step. And that lightness is the gift of this sacred path. I trust that I am where I need to be, and that is more than enough for me.
