Manifestation: The power of the feminine energy. From the beginning of time, whether you believe in the Big Bang Theory or the story of creation, one truth remains: before there was light, there was darkness. In Genesis, God declared, “Let there be light,” suggesting that darkness was the first canvas of existence.
I’ve often joked that God is a woman and that she’s Black—the antithesis of what I was taught growing up in a strict Catholic background. Of course, this isn’t about race or gender because God transcends those definitions. Feminine energy, like the darkness, is infinite, mysterious, and alive with potential.
The Beauty of the Unknown
For many, the unknown—what lies hidden in the subconscious or the occult—is a source of fear. But this fear limits us, keeping us from discovering the depth of who we are. As a tarot reader, I often associate the Moon card with the subconscious mind. Walking down what I like to call “Moon Avenue” is an invitation to uncover what’s hidden, even from ourselves.
The feminine energy of darkness isn’t a void to fear but a fertile ground for creation. It’s where our intuition thrives, our subconscious whispers, and our manifestations begin to take form.
The Feminine as the Gateway to Manifestation
Manifestation isn’t just about asking for what you want—it’s about embodying the power to create it. Feminine energy, the darkness, holds the key to this. Through my own journey, I’ve manifested incredible things—not just tangible outcomes but a deeper understanding of the immense power we all carry, often hidden even from ourselves.
Over the years, I’ve worked with various techniques, including Joseph Murphy’s The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, which helped me unlock the creative genius of my subconscious. More recently, I’ve explored rituals from The Gallery of Magick books, which have taken my practice to extraordinary levels.
Discovering the Occult
The term occult simply means “hidden,” yet it often stirs fear. It’s in these hidden practices that I’ve found some of my most profound tools for manifestation. I’ve worked with spirits traditionally labeled as demons and angels, discovering that they are not inherently good or evil—they’re simply forces we can channel depending on our intentions.
For example, Angels of Wrath from The Gallery of Magick explores the fierce, protective side of angelic energies, while Demons of Magick provides insight into powerful spirits that can help us overcome obstacles. These practices, though misunderstood, have revealed just how limitless the human potential can be when we embrace both light and darkness.
Balancing Light and Darkness
Manifestation is a dance between masculine and feminine energies, light and darkness. Darkness births the vision, while light carries it into the world. Together, they create miracles.
For me, this balance has been the key to unlocking my potential. When I sit in stillness, I honor the darkness—the feminine energy that whispers possibilities into being. When I act on those whispers, I honor the light—the masculine energy that moves dreams into reality.
Your Turn: Walking Down Moon Avenue
So, what will you discover in your own darkness? Tonight, take a moment to sit in silence, embrace the unknown, and see what rises from within. To get started, try this simple exercise:
In the fertile darkness of the unknown, I plant the seeds of my greatest manifestations.
Manifestation isn’t just about the “things” we create; it’s about rediscovering the power within us—the power that is infinite, mysterious, and waiting. Are you ready to explore the depths of your potential?
